I am an American living in Switzerland for over 20 years, but living here and knowing the apartment rental market and processes are two very different things.

I’m really grateful to Nicole for her help during my relocation to Belgium. She is a real professional and with her all the details of the moving will be taken into account, from registration to finding a good moving/cleaning company (as it was in my case) and cancel all the contracts in place in Switzerland. I moved to Zug from Ireland with my family. It was quite stressful to organize the move, find an apartment and fit into the local culture, especially with a teenager. Nicole helped us prepare the move, and gave us a lot of information beforehand. She has a deep understanding of the local market and gave us valuable advice on the documentations required to apply for an apartment. She is thoughtful and incredibly responsive. Not only did she help us find the perfect apartment but also reviewed the contract thoroughly and handled the handover process (which was surprisingly complex and new to us). She kept in touch with us and sent us local events regularly which my family really appreciated. To be honest, both my wife and I reached the conclusion that without Nicole we wouldn’t be able to find the perfect apartment for our family.
Having the services of Relocation+ was a big relief in the quite challenging time of moving internationally with my family. Mrs. Schenkelaars was really nice, helpful and patient, answering our never-ending questions and providing all the information needed for our integration. I was working in Luxembourg when I decided to join a tech company in Zurich.
Unable to express myself in German, neither in Swiss German, I have decided to request the help of Relocation+. Even if Switzerland is a nice place to live, getting an apartment to rent is not exactly something easy or similar to what I was used to.
I have provided my requirements to Nicole. She has proposed me around twenty appartements that met my criteria. She has opened the scope to another canton which met my criteria (thanks to the quality of the rail network).

I highly recommend Nicole Schenkelaars as a relocation consultant. Nicole helped me during my Zug installation in October 2015, as well as during my move back to France during summer/fall 2016. Nicole was responsible of searching rental flats in Zug, as well as assisiting me and translating during appointments as registration/deregistration in Zug city hall, post office, bank, insurance ... Her job consisted as well in helping when subscribing to contracts with the companies related to my move to Zug (water, electricity...) as well as redacting the cancellation letters.
